Numerical and analytical evaluation of airship configuration

چکیده
Today, airships have many uses and been considered because they combine the benefits of a ship an aircraft low cost energy consumption. In this research, with help numerical solutions analytical in Datcom, three common configurations airship at various angles attack are investigated. The results compared. Flow condition was altitude 4 km above ground. same not obtained solutions. Certainly, can be cited more than Datcom software has computational errors simplified. It developed for flow solution on slender body. However, despite existing error, used to extract processes sensitization some parameters. show that approach tail fins tip increases lift-to-drag ratio, increasing length-to-diameter aerodynamic performance also improves. all variants, converting cross-type variant improves vehicle's performance.
